Arc Raiders: Blue Gate Communication Tower Key Location - PetalHollow - 01-27-2026
What is the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key?
The Blue Gate Communication Tower Key is a rare item in Arc Raiders. It unlocks a door located in the basement of Pilgrim’s Peak, close to the Communication Tower at the Blue Gate. The door is immediately to the left if you approach from the zipline.
In practical terms, this key is required if you want access to certain high-value loot and extra resources in this area. Without it, the room remains locked, and you miss out on several containers of equipment and crafting materials.
Where can I find the key?
In most cases, the key is acquired through scavenging. Players commonly report that it can be found in loot spawns around the Blue Gate or from rare drops inside nearby buildings. There is no fixed spawn every single run, so you may need a couple of attempts if other players already grabbed it or if it didn’t spawn that session.
Based on gameplay patterns, it’s best to search the following areas first:
Near the main pathways leading to the zipline.
Around the outer buildings adjacent to the tower.
On scavenger nodes that typically spawn rare items in the Blue Gate region.
Keep in mind that the key has a weight of 0.25, and it cannot be stacked, so you’ll need to manage your inventory before picking it up.
How do I use the key?
Once you have the key, simply go to the door in the basement of Pilgrim’s Peak near the Communication Tower. Approach the door and interact with it. The key will automatically unlock the door, giving you access to a small area filled with loot containers.
It’s important to note that other players often know this location, so be prepared for potential competition. Many players will prioritize this key early in the run because the reward is significant.
What loot is inside the tower room?
Once unlocked, the Communication Tower room contains multiple loot containers. You can typically find:
2–4 Server Racks
1 Weapon Box
2–3 Drawers
2–3 Resource Crates
1–6 Loose Items
In practice, these containers often include crafting components, consumables, and sometimes weapons that are valuable for the next stage of a mission. Players frequently clear this area quickly because of its relatively small size and high-value loot.
If you’re after rare materials for upgrades, this is one of the better spots to check at the Blue Gate. For players on consoles, this is also where you might notice rare items appearing if you’re trading or checking listings like arc raiders blueprints for sale xbox.
Tips from experienced players
From experience, a few strategies make collecting and using the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key easier:
Check spawn patterns early – The key can spawn randomly. Make it a habit to check the outer scavenger points first before engaging enemies.
Inventory management is key – Since the key has a small but non-zero weight and cannot be stacked, make sure your bag has space before scavenging.
Team coordination – If you’re playing in a squad, assign someone to grab the key and open the door while others cover potential threats.
Time your run – The area around the Blue Gate sees heavy traffic from players in PVP-enabled modes. Running early in the mission or coordinating with your squad can reduce competition.
Expect respawns – Server Racks, Resource Crates, and Weapon Boxes may respawn at certain intervals, so if the room is empty on your first run, you can come back later.
Common questions
Q: Can the key be sold or traded?
Yes. The key itself has a sell price of 100 coins. Some players prefer to sell it if they already have unlocked the room and don’t need the extra loot.
Q: Does the key respawn if someone else uses it?
No. The key is not a reusable item for multiple players in the same run. Each spawn is unique per match, so only one player can claim it before the next respawn cycle.
Q: Is it worth farming the key?
Absolutely. The loot inside the tower can give you rare components that are otherwise hard to find in the area. If you’re focused on upgrading your gear or completing specific scavenger goals, this key is worth prioritizing.
The Blue Gate Communication Tower Key is a small but important part of resource management and scavenging in Arc Raiders. By knowing where it spawns, how to use it, and what loot it grants, you can maximize efficiency and get the most out of Pilgrim’s Peak. Experienced players will scout it early, manage inventory, and coordinate with squads to make the most of the high-value items inside.
By following these practical tips, you’ll save time and increase the likelihood of getting the rare materials that make a noticeable difference in your gear progression.
